Olden

Olden

Olden – Is a tender cruise port at the end of Norway’s Nordfjord, offering direct access to a postcard-perfect village surrounded by mountains, glaciers, and waterfalls.

Cruise ships anchor just outside Olden, and passengers are tendered ashore to a small dock with a café, souvenir shop, and tour meeting point. A short walk or mini train ride takes you into the village, which sits in a stunning valley surrounded by peaks and waterfalls.

Olden is known for its access to the Briksdal Glacier, part of the Jostedalsbreen ice cap. Many visitors also take the Loen Skylift for panoramic views from Mount Hoven. Other highlights include scenic lakes like Oldevatnet, gentle valley hikes, and thrilling RIB boat fjord safaris.
